Just returned from the Dr. Pepper Center as Team Woga won the team competition. More updates and individual scores coming soon.
Congratulations to Ivana Hong, Rebecca Bross and Nastia Luikin for making the US Gymnastics Team. Might we see all three of these girls join Bridget Sloan at the World Championships in London?

Love gymnastics? Why not wrap a trip to London around watching our girls go for the World Championship?
Shawn Johnson brought home the championship in 2007. Perhaps one of our local girls will bring another championship to the US.

Not so many years ago I heard many people in Dallas call Frisco, “South Oklahoma.” So, looks like some more Frisco natives (LOL) will be joining the US Gymnastics team. Okay, so maybe a stretch, but we’re proud of how strong gymnastics continues to be in our area. Congratulations to OU’s Steven Legendre, Jake Dalton (alternate) and former Sooner Jonathon Horton who now trains in Houston. All three will join the US Gymnastics team announced Saturday in Dallas after the Men’s Competition in at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Horton won the all-around title and was then named as USA Gymnastics’ Athlete of the Year.
The team will compete in the World Gymnastics Championship in London later this year. Congratulations guys – good luck at World’s!

Watch these great videos from Woga Gymnastics in Frisco, Plano and Dallas
You can see the quality of the Woga training system even if your a rookie to gymnastics. There’s a reason WOGA is considered the the best Gymnastics Center in Frisco TX (and the USA).

WOGA is the Undisputed #1 Gymnastic Center in the United States
If you live in or near Frisco, TX and you want to provide excellent training for your child you are in luck. Woga Frisco Gymnastics Center is not only one of the best places for gymnastics training in the Dallas Metroplex, it is perhaps the best center in the country. And if you’re like me – you’re here doing your research because you want the best for your kids.
Frisco Gymnastics Training Center is the Home of Olympic Champions Nastia Lukin and Carly Patterson
While your kid might not be a future Olympic Champion, they will have the opportunity to be taught by some of the top gymnastics coaches in the world with a proven track record for achieving greatness. Right here in North Texas the 2004 Olympic gold medal gymnastics champion Carly Patterson was trained by Woga Frisco co-owner Yevgeny Marchenko while 2008 Gold Medalist Nastia Luikin was trained by her father and other Woga co-owner Valeri Luikin.
Woga Frisco has Programs for Both the Serious Gymnast and Kids that Just Want to Have Fun
One thing that clearly attracted me to Woga’s Frisco gymnastics training program was their understanding that the most important thing for kids is to enjoy what they are doing. I will never forget the look on my daughters face during her first class – it was a look of pure joy. Amazingly that look is there every time she goes to Woga, because they know how to make their training fun.
Woga’s Frisco Gymnastic Center is Parent Friendly with Viewing Areas on Two Floors So You Can Comfortably Watch Your Kids Having Fun
I’m a lucky parent that has a lot of time to participate in my children’s activities. At the Woga Gymnastic Center of Frisco, it is very easy to watch a training session while maintaining a distance so my child can focus on their class or private lesson. Let me tell you that one of the most enjoyable parts of my week is seeing my child work hard to get better and seeing her realize she hit a new milestone by performing a new exercise she couldn’t do before. I really think they are great at teaching perseverance and a healthy competitive spirit. Smiles are definitely contagious at Woga.
In closing, I wasn’t privileged enough to have such fine athletic training in my own backyard and feel so lucky to have one in my own backyard that will give my child the best opportunity to reach her full potential in something she absolutely loves.
If you want a fantastic environment for your child, check out Woga Frisco Gymnastics Center, it’s really the best place for gymnastics training and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do. Hope this helped. Let me know your thoughts.
